Chaos ensues when one of the drunken sailors falls into a trough of whitewash, leading Stan and Ollie to believe they’ve encountered a ghost. Their antics escalate until they accidentally blurt out “ghost” in front of the captain, triggering his wrath and delivering one of Laurel & Hardy’s signature “fine mess” endings.
